What to do in Marrakech when the weather is not good?

Marrakech knows very little rain… but it can happen that it rains or that the weather is not good during your stay. So what to do if it does? We have listed in this article some covered places.

Make a SPA:

Take a cooking class: 

For cooking enthusiasts, you can learn the essentials of Moroccan cuisine during a dedicated course and you can even enjoy your delicious concocted dishes.
The course takes place in a riad in the medina with a small group and lasts 4 hours. It costs 450 DH (45€) per person.

Do a pottery workshop:

You can create beautiful objects during this workshop located in the industrial district of Sidi Ghanem.
The workshop is done in small groups and lasts 2 hours.
It is also open to children from 3 years old!
It costs 250 DH (25€) per person.

Do an embroidery workshop:

Come learn to embroider on straw baskets. You will be able to customize your trash as you wish in the fourfold of Sidi Ghanem.
The workshop is for children (from 11 years old) and adults and lasts 2 hours.
It costs 380 DH (38€) per person.

Visit the museums: 

The Yves Saint Laurent museum is a must see. A retrospective of the artist is exhibited there as well as his creations. You will be immersed in the world of the designer YSL. The entrance fee is 100 dh (10€).

The museum of photography presents different pictures of the Moroccan landscape and the way of life of its inhabitants between 1870 and 1950. You can end your visit by sipping mint tea in the rooftop café overlooking the medina. The entrance fee is 50dh (5 €), open every day from 9:30 am to 7 pm.

The Confluence Museum is also a must-see museum in Marrakech. In the heart of the museum you will fall under the charm of the dar el Bacha café, a magnificent experience both gustatory and visual. For the museum, the entrance fee is 60 dh (6 €) open all week, except Tuesday, from 10:00 to 18:00.

Visit the immersive journey of Meydene:

A beautiful novelty located in M Avenue. “The Course” is a walk in five stages, each one really initiatory, immersive and surprising, for whoever wants to discover the Marrakech of yesterday as much as today. We loved the surprising visual effects! The tour costs 100 DH (10€) per adult and 60 DH (6€) per child, open from 10:30 am to 10:30 pm.
